Support Coordination (LEVEL 2) & Parent Pathway

Comprehensive Support Solutions

Once you have a plan in place that is sufficient for your support needs, Inspired Navigation will help you understand and implement your plan and advise how to get the most out of your NDIS funding.

Our caring and knowledgeable Support Coordinators provide a very personalised service and work with your specific goals to explore what options are available to you.

We will recommend where and how you can access other supports that you might need. We’ll also give you the tools you need to help track your spend with providers.

We will conduct extensive research with our most trusted partners and then if you would like us to, we can connect you with the most suitable Specialists, Therapists, Support Workers and providers in your community.

How we can help

Plan Implementation and Support Coordination

We are here to take the frustrations and overwhelm away from trying to find the right supports for your circumstances, here’s how easy it is:

We book a phone call or meeting to go through your plan and help you understand it.

We will discuss your goals and expectations and agree on the terms of engagement.

A Service Agreement with schedule will be sent to you to sign.

We get to work on finding you the best support possible.

You can relax knowing that we are here to support you at every step

All Support Coordination fees are funded by the NDIS, if you have support coordination funding in your plan.

We will assist you when your plan comes up for a scheduled review to gain the best funding outcome.

Education and Training/Parent Pathway

We deliver an Education and Training Pathway which assists participants and their families to build capacity enabling them to understand NDIS plans, legislation requirements and the review processes.

We open the opportunity to ask questions which in turn helps scaffold participants to better position their understanding of next steps. We appreciate the importance of gathering both supporting and expert knowledge to ensure full transparency on what is able to be achieved within the scope of NDIS obligations.

Appeals Process

If you are not satisfied with the decision made by the NDIS at Plan Reassessment and RORD Level, you may apply to the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) for a further external review within 28 days of receiving the outcome of your request. Information about how to apply can be found on the ART website (Homepage | Administrative Review Tribunal), or by calling 1800 228 333.

The NDIS website (ndis.gov.au) also provides information about requesting an external review. Search for ‘Operational Guidelines’ and then click on the link listed ‘Review of Decisions’. Next, select ‘Part 6 External Review by the ART’ to read more. Alternatively, you can visit the following website:

NDIS REVIEW OF DECISIONS

It is very important to note that as part of the NDIS Operational Guidelines, the NDIS does not permit Support Coordinators to assist participants and/or their carers with the ART process. Inspired Navigation are therefore unable to provide assistance on any matters relating to the ART.

Additional support may be available to you through the National Disability Advocacy Program. You can find out more at dss.gov.au under ‘Disability and Carers’.
